The original tag sent with walnut tree seeds to Irene Parmelee's brother, Glenn Parmelee, in 1932. 10 seeds were sent, planted on May 24, 1917. Two trees grew, and in 1937 one of the trees was given to Fall City Elementary. It still grows in front of the Fall City Gymnasium, and in 2017 was 85 years old! |
