Description |
A heart-shaped sign (images of front and back), advertising Raging River Grove, a campsite built and run by George Morton from 1925 to 1932. A Dance Hall was added in 1928. All were wiped out by a Raging River flood in 1932. The campsite had three cabins. There was a 25-cent charge per car per day for folks to come to use the site. There were tables, fire circles, waterfront to enjoy. Kids loved to play in the river. |
