Photo of Swing Rock taken at higher elevation, showing the area to the south that has been mined away over the years. (In 2018, drone photos of Swing Rock were taken by Christopher Williams. A folder with 20 photos is in the Accession folder. A very large rock, probably left by an earlier glacier, sits between Snoqualmie and North Bend, close to the south side of Hwy202. This rock features in an important Snoqualmie Tribe story. Starting in the early 1900s, it was mined for gravel, and now only a shell remains on the north side.)
