4. Beaver Top Hat - This top hat, referred to as "beaver" by donor, was owned by Almus Rutherford, who is said to have been elected Commissioner (presumeably for King County) in 1878, Washington Territory era. He also served later in the 1900s as King County Commissioner. See attached pdf of page 19, Jack's History of Fall City, about Almus and Jesse Rutherford. The hat was passed on to donor's family by Jesse Rutherford. Marion and John Querro used it as part of their Fall City Centennial costumes in 1972.
