Beaded Purse, Fall City early 1900s? - This beaded purse was also in the wooden desk belonging to the Jack and Hattie Bush family, early 1900s. The body of the purse is quite stiff, covered inside with brown materials and outside with black velvet, decorated with a beaded floral design. There is a dark red ribbon trim on the opening. It is approx 7.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide, opening at the narrow end. SEE IMAGE. The ribbon at the top is very worn and fragile. Some of the beading is missing, showing the material to which the beads had been fastened before applying to the velvet.
