The impressive Hotel Fall City was built around 1900 by David 'Doc' Taylor. It was purchased in 1903 by Ronnei and Nelson, and burned in 1925. [Five postcards from donor's collection were shared to scan]

Key tag for Hotel Fall City, c1920 - Metal room key tag for Room 19, from Hotel Fall City. Approximately 5 inches in length. Found with metal detector, near the foundation of what used to be the Brown Bag Cafe, on the corner of East Eugene and Tolt Avenue in Carnation. Hotel Fall City existed from about 1903 to 1921.
