Four color slides from the Stow family a - Labelled Fall City, Stow Hdwe, 1953 Howard Stow opened Stow Hardware in 1945 and operated there until 1954, when he sold out to Jack McClymont. From the signs in the windows and the date, this looks like the "closing sale", being advertised by a balloon-decorated car, with Howard Stow and Ed Stow by the front of the car. b - photo of unidentified man and woman, no date c - photo of gray-haired unidentified woman, in dahlia garden area, no date d - an early photo of Clara Burns Stow, no date given (slide is marked ANSCO COLOR, which began to be used after WW II and until the mid-1970s. The old-style dress would seem earlier than this, but perhaps Clara was dressed up for the 1972 Centennial?)

Fall City Hardware 1947 and 1992 - Photographic prints of Fall City Hardware. Top photo is before 1954, when Howard Stow sold the business to Jack McClymont. Date of 1992 must apply to the bottom photo. Dave Schiesser operated the store until 1985 but it is unknown who operated the store after Dave or if the store was in operation at the time the time the photograph was taken in 1992.

IOOF members at Fall City Methodist Church c1928? - Photo of group of people wearing some kind of organizational regalia, standing in front of a building with "scaffolding" shown at front and side. No date or other information. Howard Stow appears to be second from left in the group of men. It is possible that the building in the photo is the Fall City Methodist Church, around the time it was moved across the street from its original location. The scaffolding could have been to protect the corner area where the entry door and bell tower are. The people may possibly be IOOF members who were meeting in this building in the interim between when their original building burned and the second building was being built. No clear supporting data for this theory.

No information is given. This same photo is entered as 2008-29.17, where it is labelled "Grandpa Harshman on Stillwater Hill in 1920" That would be Newton Harshman. Not known how or if this relates to Howard Stow's various logging ventures.
