3. Graduation dress 1941 - Bertha Emanuelson - The hand-made full length dress is made of ivory colored sheer fabric of unknown content. It is floor length and has a fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline with gathered lace. The top section of the bodice has gathered fullness completed with three chevrons of lace. The skirt has two rows of lace and measures 215" at the hem. The shoulders are made of lace that continues over to make a yoke on the back. The back has 24 covered buttons which are closed with satin cord loops. The short puffed sleeves have lace cuffs and a velvet bow. It has only slight damage to the sheer fabric near the hem. It is made to be worn with an under slip which is object number 2018-001.002.
