Both a and b depict grades 4-8 at the Brown School. Dated, 1908. The back of each photograph contains some ids of those pictured. Apron, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Voile cotton, gauzy: yellow and blue, decorative. Mostly yellow, skirt of apron is gathered at the top and has a round shape, upper portion is rectangular with two 1 3/4 inch wide blue ties attached. Apron has white lace trim while ties have yellow embroidered trim. Yellow and blue rounded pocket at left side, with white lace trim decoration.

Blouse, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Silk with cotton collar and cuffs; cream. Blouse is long - front placket with five shell buttons extends down 15 inches, and the front open and free flowing 12 inches below the waist. Arms are 26 inches long with French cuffs, open buttonholes for cufflinks. Blouse has no lapels; inside of cotton collar is printed "Cushion band, half inch allowed for shrinking, (size) 15", there are two button holes on the front of the collar and one at the back, perhaps to attach a decorative collar to blouse.

Engraved with initials and the year 1915, belonged to Artie Kelley. Initials are: JEK - Jesse E. Kelley; RFB - Robert Frank Burns; LLB - Lester L. Burns; PFB - Perry F. Burns; MCB - Milly C. Burns; MH - Minnie Huffman. Others unknown.

Chemise, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Cotton: white, with white crocheted yoke and hem. Function uncertain - garment could have been used as a full slip or as a nightdress. Crocheted yoke makes up top of bodice, sleeveless straps, square neckline, and armholes and extends down to top of bust line. Rest of bodice is plain white cotton and connects to skirt at waist. One let-out pintuck pleat visible right above hem. Hem is a decorative crocheted band 5 inches wide, with a zig zag edge.

Christening Gown, Baby, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Baby's Christening gown. Voile cotton: white. Lace decoration and pintuck pleats on yoke, cuffs, and hem. Back closure has two shell buttons. Possibly a manufactured ready-made garment, as there is a brand name of "Flaxon" stamped at the left side and right hem. Brief internet research revealed Flaxon sold "white goods," but it is unclear if they were makers of ready-made clothing or just fabric.

Dress, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Dress. Crepe: mauve long sleeved drop waist dress with decorative buttons and collar ties. Dress has a v-neck line with decorative piping, bodice has a faux fold-over to the right side, accented with piping and round decorative buttons covered with the same mauve fabric. Ties at neck are each 30 inches long, attach on either side at the upper shoulder, and would tie in a square knot at the bust.

Dress, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Dress. Silk: black with dark paisley print silk trim in dark blue, burgundy, light blue, and ochre. Long sleeved dress has a drop waist, collar, and the lower portions of the sleeves are puffed, cinching down to a fitted cuff with snap closure. Collar, trim, placket, and puffed portions of sleeves are made from paisley print silk; collar is rounded and has pointed paisley trim. This same pointed trim appears on either side of the placket and on the hemline. Close at neckline of dress, with two snaps at under the placket.

Hair clippers, Artie Kelley, Fall City - Metal hair clippers with enamel coated handles, used by Artie Kelley in the 1930's. Head is flat on one end with grooves on the underneath side to follow the hair and has a fixed row of teeth, handles move a second row of teeth that shear through hair. Handles have a thumb loop and a finger grip to create a sturdy grasp. A knob on the top of the head releases blade for replacement.
