Description |
A plat document for the Lake Alice area was loaned for scanning. It shows how the lots were laid out around the Lake, and includes RESTRICTIONS, unfortunately typical of that era, prohibiting "any person of other than the white or Caucasian race" from owning or renting in this new community. The Plat and restrictions were certified in June 1947. The plat sheets were approx. 18" x 23". High res scans were done and are in the Accession folder. No full-sized prints were made. |
