Information about Schroeder's Mill in Fall City. A (damaged) photo of the mill was donated in 2008.. see attached images (002) of front and back. In INDEX OF LUMBER MILLS AND BUSINESSSES IN KING COUNTY, author Erik Erickson lists: Schroeder Lumber Co, Shingle and Sawmill, Fall City 1922-26. Sawmill burned in 1924, Shingle Mill saved. At some point, Marcella L. (Goeres) Dahlstrom (nee Jensen) commented on the mill. Later a letter was sent to her (002a) to ask for more information. She returned a two-page handwritten letter (002b 1&2), difficult to decipher. Tracy Keene made an attempt at transcribing it (002c). The Word file is attached.
