Holy Bible printed in 1818 and thought to have been in either the Jacob Huffman or the Edward Herndon families. Given to Jack Kelley by Louise Cook in 2002. See inscription at the beginning of New Testament, written in 1824, about presentation of the bible to the original owner, Margaret (Cox) Bridges, born 1799. Bible has a plain leather cover, with no writing. |
