A scan of "Fall City" news from the Snoqualmie Post Feb 9, 1917. It gives social news of various Fall City folks, and most interestingly, mentions the "new bridge", which was the first concrete bridge over the Snoqualmie River at Fall City. The "old bridge" mentioned was the Wood Bridge, completed in the fall of 1889. The old bridge was purchased by Lewis Carmichael and Gene Parmelee. The paper states that it has been entirely taken down and the lumber hauled away. |
