  2. Large flag, gauzy material, Kelley family Fall City - Flag, American: cotton viscose or linen - fabric is open weave, gauzy, and rough. Made up of 13 alternating red and white stripes, top-stitched upon each other, and a blue field with 48 stars appliqued to both sides. Canvas binding at one side of flag, with metal grommets for hanging. There were originally a metal clasp tied with twine at the top grommet, and a black shoestring tied to the lower grommet - to be used in hanging the flag. Both the metal clasp and shoestring have been removed and housed separately, as they are made of material that may damage the fabric. The flag is so delicate that it seems to have been meant for occasional decorative or ceremonial use. Appears to be handmade. Dimensions: 67 in x 36 in approx. (textile has uneven edges)

Rectangular bag appears handmade, and is constructed from white linen, with blue linen lining at the top making the casing for drawstring. Drawstring is two cords of blue yarn knotted at the ends, with two decorative tassels on each end. Front of bag has a padded satin stitch embroidered design that says "Laundry".

On the jacket (as worn) are "LeRoy" on the right chest, a fireman's badge and 40-year pin on the right chest, an Emergency Medical Technician patch on the right shoulder, and a Fall City Fire Dept 27 patch on the right shoulder. Various dates. a- "Army of Occupation," medal for service in Japan. Dated, 1945. b- WWII commemorative medal. Back of medal lists, "Freedom From Fear and Want," and "Freedom of Speech and Religion." Dated, 1941-1945. c-"Efficiency, Honor, and Fidelity," medal awarded for good conduct. No date given. d- "American Campaign," medal. Dated, 1941-1945. e- "Asiatic Pacific Campaign," medal. Dated, 1941-1945. The ribbon portion of the medal contains three small pins in the shapes of an arrow head and two stars.

  12. LeRoy Bronemann's WWII Scrapbook - Scrapbook, "My Record of Friends in Service," compiled by LeRoy Bronemann during his WWII military service. Dated ca.1940s. The scrapbook contains information on LeRoy's military friends in addition to photographs and a newspaper clipping. The title page contains a few versus referencing friendship. The front cover contains an embossed, heraldic eagle motif and the word, "Buddies."

  13. Leather Change Purse, Moore House, Fall City - Kiss lock change purse most likely owned by the Moore Family. No date given, but the purse was found in the Ben Moore house. Purse is constructed of leather on a metal frame. It contains two separate pockets which are accessed by a three-prong kiss lock.

Letterman's Sweater, Fall City, Fall City High School - Burgundy wool lettermans sweater with three burgundy and white patches, two woven white stripes on PL sleeve. 5 plastic buttons present, two front slash pockets, label inside interior collar with maker Octonek Knitting Co. Seattle. An extra oval section is attached to insides of each sleeve to reinforce elbows. Belonged to the donor as a girl, "Lorraine Jacobson" is embroidered in yellow on a piece of black satin that is sewn into interior collar. Small note on lined paper was tucked into PR pocket that lists kinds of nuts.

  19. Letterman's Sweater, Fall City, Fall City High School - Small burgundy cardigan sweater: worsted wool, made by Sctonek Knitting Co, Seattle. Teenager's sweater is very small in size, but could have belonged to a boy or girl. Five brown bakelite buttons, two cream stripes on proper left arm, cream interiors to two horizontal slash pockets at front hips, cuffs at sleeves. Interior label says "Sctonek Letterman's Sweater, Sctonek Knitting Co. Seattle, All Worsted" - label is very unique, embroidered in green and black with fir tree, mountain, and clouds. Leather shoulder reinforcing strips stitched to the upper interior of each shoulder. Burgundy and white wool "FC" patch stitched to proper left front.
