Photo of (according to the sign) Larson Brothers Garage Auto Repair and Machine Shop. It appears that it might have been located next to the first Concrete Bridge, which opened in about 1918. More background information on Amel Larson is in the Accession folder. Ed Holmes shared this photo which appears to be in Fall City from an early scrapbook belonging to Pearl Larson in Preston.

Autobiography of Norman Holmes, Preston WA - In honor of his father’s 90th birthday in 2013, Ed Holmes assembled an 110-page book entitled I’m a Little Norwegian Too: The Autobiography of Norman Holmes. In it, of course, is a lot of his own family’s history, but also much about other early families with many interesting photos from a wide variety of sources and lots of general Preston history.
